Foliage and flowers that don’t quit
Andy Schenk of Malvern , Pennsylvania , bid his garden “ Look Again Garden , ” and today he is sharing some photos that will for certain make you seem again , as these are some of his top plants that look beautiful in the wintertime . His garden sits at the edge of geographical zone 6 and 7 .
Hamamelisovalis(Zones 6–9 ) is a relatively raw species of witch hazelnut tree in cultivation , aboriginal to southeastern North America . The flush are pocket-size but are great for early color in the garden .
Prunus‘Fudan - zakura ’ , a giving from the Morris Arboretum , is a cool prunus that efflorescence in both decline and spring much likePrunus×subhirtella‘Autumnalis Rosea ’ .

Crotonalabamensis(Zones 6–8 ) , show sensational drop coloring material and still mostly evergreen at this time , is aboriginal to the southern United States .
TheseCyclamenhederifolium(Zones 4–9 ) seedlings are displaying awful leaf colors and patterns .
Danaeracemosa(Zones 6–8 ) is a fantastic evergreen bush that is felicitous in mystifying shade . Its cerise fruit is spectacular aright now .

ThisTorreyagrandis(Zones 8–9 , maybe moth-eaten ) has surprised me for its hardiness . It also seems to be cervid resistant , as I have never see any browse .
Torreyajackiiwas another surprise . I love the long needle and weeping habit .
Cephalotaxusfortunei(Zones 7–9 ) is a rather uncommon coinage ofCephalotaxus . It is a great evergeen for a shady smear and also show splendid deer resistor .

Cornus(akaBenthamidia)elliptica‘Summer Splash ’ ( Zones 7–9 ) is one of the evergreen dogwoods , but its motley foliage make it even well the others .
honorable - oldChimonanthuspraecox(Zones 7–10)—I could not imagine a winter garden without this fragrant beauty .
