Sharing the positive garden energy
Today we ’re in Ilion , New York , visiting with Lee . We ’ve been to Lee ’s garden before ( Lee ’s Backyard Escape ) , and it is great to be back to see more of it .
Here in the Mohawk Valley in fundamental New York , we are over the wintertime gibbosity and a month off from thoseearly plantspushing up and unfolding . I have plenty ofplantingto do , as always — an exercise that pay off handsomely . I am providing some additional movie for entry , hoping to catch a few optic and peradventure bring some pleasurable anticipation for others for this coming season .
I wish well your squad and all of your viewer a great rise and flowering season . I have launch one thing in common among growers — we all possess irrefutable energy that has the ability to “ go ” from one mortal to another . I ’ve never seen a grumpy gardener . I am trusted that others find great joyfulness in their own world and for all of those who chaffer and experience our leakage and our Heaven on Earth .

We all need a respite when we can whole countenance go , and after four decades of gardening , this is that respite for me . I come up great delectation in viewing others ’ gardens and creations just as much as mine . It has a way of bringing us together without ever really foregather .
My sun - rainfall way will be finish this time of year , make for another property to the overall landscape painting . It ’s a see - through way , with all chicken feed front and rear , so one can be anywhere outside and see the trout stream behind the way . It ’s basically made from old hemlock fencing and barn board that I planed . I bestow nifty character and function with six panes of 4×6 hockey chicken feed from the Adirondack Bank Center , home of the Utica Comets .
One piece of glass had a different plan after having been install for over a year . Ever see shattered hockey game glassful ? Ha . I added a impression of that for a “ wow ” effect with alilystill showing from the exterior .

Dahlia(Dahlia×variabilis , geographical zone 9–11 or as a tender light bulb ) flowers blooming by the pool
dark - eyed Susan ( Rudbeckia , Zones 3–9 ) and other perennials circumvent the consortium region with flowery beauty
Bumblebees lovepurple coneflowers(Echinaceapurpurea , Zones 3–8 ) even more than humanity do !

A stunning oriental lily ( Liliumhybrid , oriental chemical group , Zones 5–9 ) — I wish well the incrediblefragrancecould be snap !
Honeysuckle ( Lonicerasp . ) cut through in beautiful orange flowers
