5 years ago this weekend ( October 9th to be exact ) , we fired up a diminutive walk behind brush cutter and began our ambition of make a little space to call our own .   We did n’t sleep together much – but we knew we wanted a little garden , barn , a few chickens – and a more childlike way of lifespan .

Those five years have been fill with a lot of voiceless work and fun – and yes those two thing can and do go together beautifully !

We have had a lot dandy memories building   our dream , with many more to add up .   We never imagine when we start out that we would ever have a website about the farm   – but in   former 2012 , we decided to make oldworldgardenfarms.com to document the whole process . As crazy as it sounds , that little blog will celebrate it ’s 10,000,000th visitor this calendar month , and with   65,000 + followers , it   prove that there are many others out there as well who share the passion of living a more round-eyed lifespan .
