English holly(Ilex aquifolium)Remove dead or pathologic branches at any time of class . In springiness , take out limb that are crossing and thin as needed back to the main radical . light shape as needed . bush can be trained into small trees by removing modest branches back to the main trunk .
Blue holly(Ilexxmeserveae)Remove dead or diseased branch when noticed . In late winter before fresh growth emerges , fragile out branch if plants come along overgrown . pyramidical forms can be thinly shaped , while shaggy-haired types can be shear into hedging and topiary .
