Come with me as we make an Iris Farm Visit!
Last weekend it was affectionate and sunny and so gorgeous . I check of an Iris Farm not too far from home and we decide a dulcet solar day trip was in order!It was more than worth the campaign . The farm is nestled in the foothills not far off I80 near Vacaville . Acres of glorious color greets you as you tug up . It is rather breathtaking . But the existent fun pop when you may get up close and personal . The detail on the petals make for a very artistic intro . There are so many variation that it nearly boggle the intellect . I could not take a favorite .. Endless inspiration for paintings . I call for to find this one in their catalog , I do not have this delicate apricot colour in my garden … .. yetThis next one is emphatically on my listing of I to get .. it is called Bewilderbeast .. The yellows combine with purple are so striking too … Did I mention I ca n’t pick a favorite ? ? Though I did keep getting drawn in by this one ( my photo is inadequate , it is such adorable jazz group though simple)They had a twain spell of them , they are call That ’s All Folks , and each prison term I walked past it I thought “ I want that one” . Of of course I most belike read that to myself all throughout our sojourn but it was a spot more insistent with That ’s All Folks . I did buy this next one , it is so unusual , it will get a place of honor in my garden , it is called Huckleberry Fudge . I have scores more photos but I will save them for another day . Maybe next Sunday I will share more . I am headed out to my garden for a bit of a first light base on balls . After the pouring rain yesterday I am sure my blossom are dance with glee!Have a howling Clarence Day !
