It is vigorous , usually easy to develop , and get lashings of shiny Orange River - spot flowers . Be aware that people apply the name of “ Panthera tigris lily ” for a clump of different flora , so if someone offers you one , it might be this , another lily , or possibly a day lily .

Daylily ‘ Wilson Spider ’ ( Hemerocallis‘Wilson Spider ’ , Zones 3–9 ) . This is a classic example of a spider - form day lily . wanderer daylilies have long , minute flower petal , which often kink and twist in beautiful mode .

Some varieties of nasturtiums rise long , tracking , or even wax vines , while others form tight , compact mounds . Both are great ; it just depends on what you want from them .
