Propagation

In my now yearly seed influx from theHardy Plant Society seminal fluid scheme , I signed up for a favorable dip packet which is made up from loose seeds . These are escapee from envelopes , spillage from the silvery teaspoon used for scoops , that variety of affair . They are unidentified . I do n’t have the expertise to discover the varieties from the seeds , so each one will be a surprisal .

Well , what playfulness and games . Last timeI had potted up most of the mystery seedling from the first of two batches . Since then I have killed them all ! I am a Isidor Feinstein Stone cold-blooded plant killer . In an act of gardening over - confidence , I put a liberal scoop of fertiliser in with the potting commixture . This single hubristic betise resulted in the last by over - eating of a whole wrapping of seedlings , include this pile . They all died , gorge to the gills with nutrients they were n’t quick to take on . Like turn over steak and chip to a baby . So we ’ll say no more about this first great deal , their personal identity having kick the bucket with them to the compost heap . Cue sombre music .
