This week I had the delight of visiting my comrade Brian and babe - in - law Danielle and their three sweet minor . I always find myself further after visit them . My brother is a fire - fighter and Danielle is incredibly smart . She is an pedagogue but also a educatee . She researches and soaks up information like a parazoan .
Danielle is a Florida native . She did not get down garden until she became an adult . A store that cheer her to start was thinking back to succulent mature in her grandmother ’s house . The notion passive while she spend prison term in there instigate her to start garden . She has read and experimented and has a beautiful landscape mix with flowers and victual . I asked her if she would show us what she has going on and she agreed . They live on less than a quarter of an Accho . She has several case of berries growing , including blackberries , strawberries , blueberries , and raspberries .
Danielle ’s favorite mode of gardening is Cottage Style , which flows freely and intertwine attractively . In one area , she has blueberries over the top of strawberries which are part shaded by apple tree diagram .

She is not afraid of plant right up against something else , and the resultant role are awesome . The apple tree above is an Ein Shemer variety growing next to a Golden Delicious ( render below.)On the side of her house , she has a Hardy Kiwi growing . We found this little nest growing when we pulled back the vine .
She has two Wild Plum Trees as well as a Stanley Plum . They are growing as mellow as the trampoline the kids play on , which reduplicate as a backing hold . My favorite part of her design is the Concord grapeshot which move as a modulation between the landscape painting in the front yard and the gardens in the back .
The grape vines are hold up by a homemade treillage and run over the top of the entrance to their come away service department . It is very whimsical .

Whether you have a big yard or small-scale , it is very possible to have an edible landscape that maintain yield back . Brian and Danielle have been incredibly officious this summer and have niggling to no clock time to garden . But thanks to the work they put in previously they are continuing to see the fruit of their labor . Hurray for perennials !
give thanks you , Danielle , for the term of enlistment .
