And on goes respectable old William , waxing lovely . I nonchalantly asked my confrere here atFine horticulture , what is your favorite daffodil ? Here are two , plus my top pick .

I be intimate poeticus Narcissus pseudonarcissus . They ’re so precious with their lilliputian piddling cups and rounded petals . ‘ Actaea ’ is my right-down favorite with its fresh , snowy white flower petal and midget yellow cups rim in red . It has a strong fragrance , too !

Antonio Reis, Product Manager, always goes to ‘Spellbinder’

Look at that daff ’s slope ! Creamy trumpet crescendos into a bright saucer on the blossom . It ’s like Renoir take a encounter to this change and painted it to perfection . I eff cut ‘ Spellbinder ’ and localise it in a marvelous silver vase with xanthous parrot tulip – a very happy arrangement to welcome spring .

‘ Thalia ’ ! It has pure white , multiple , out - facing , fragrant , sweet blossom that are even more pollyannaish in other outflow than the ubiquitous white-livered Narcissus pseudonarcissus . It pairs well with other blue perennial and ephemerals , as is shown in the image . I could have an entire spring garden of them and be perfectly happy .
