Today ’s photos are from Michael Follose in Oregon . He says,“Our home and garden are located in Central Oregon , a high desert arena with a short ( about 90 day ) grow season . We live in a agriculture community which receive irrigation from snow melt in the Cascade Mountains . I ’ve been gardening here for about 35 year , but the property has been in my family for almost 75 years . All three of these photos are from our side garden . The farming here is very savorless , so we built a 78 - understructure long retain wall , bring in truckloads of fill and surface soil , terraced it with lichen - cover lava rock-and-roll from our belongings , and then finally finished the waterfall three years ago . Since then we ’ve been filling in the orbit with perennials and small shrubs . ”Beautiful job , Michael ! Thanks so much for sending in pic .
