Sempervivum’Corsair ' is a small succulent that grows in clump of rosettes of haired green and red leaves . The new growth is initially green but turns deep pink - loss as it matures . In the spring , the rosettes have red center smother by green tabu leave , making them peculiarly lovely . In the summer , the rosettes turn all cerise and retain this color well .
